Johnny Lucas - Winter Song
This song is incredible. Not only does it invoke a sense of love but it also has a story to it as well. It has a bit of Romeo and Juliet to it as Johnny Lucas takes on the role of Romeo and simply asks Juliet to escape with him. He wants to escape the winter which in turn represents a repetitious cycle of life that he’d like to escape.
Not only are the lyrics incredibly powerful but the chords from the acoustic guitar and Johnny’s strong, yet soft, voice carry a complicated melody that is contrasted by the catchy hook which in turn creates a powerful song that will make your ears smile after one listen.
